Edwards Excellence Award
Purpose and History
The Edwards Medical Supply Excellence Award is an opportunity to recognize a member of MAOHN who has exhibited exemplary performance and pursuit of educational goals in Occupational
Health.
This award was established in 1998 and financial support for this award comes from Edwards Medical Supply.
The purpose of the Edwards Medical Supply Excellence Award is:
- to foster awareness of outstanding services by Occupational Health Nurses
- to encourage continuous improvement and education in Occupational Health
- to encourage young men and women to begin careers in Occupational Health Nursing and to inspire those in the profession to enrich their careers
The Award
The Edwards Excellence Award recipient will receive a monetary award of $200 and a commemorative plaque. MAOHN will receive $100 from Edwards Medical Supply.
The award recipient will be recognized by MAOHN during a MAOHN member meeting.
Award Criteria
All active members of MAOHN who wish to continue their education in a degreed program or pursue educational opportunities (i.e. national conference attendance) are
encouraged to apply.
