Q: What are your current position and responsibilities?
A: I am the Occupational Health Nurse responsible for the health and safety needs of both manufacturing and office employees.
I do routine first aid and triage, coordinate return to work after medical leaves, work site ergonomics, manage the emergency response
team, medical surveillance, and address any other health issues that arise.
Q: What are your past positions and areas of expertise?
A: I worked in post surgical/trauma/neuroscience nursing in a direct care setting and then became a QRC/case manager before landing
my first position as an Occupational Health Nurse almost four years ago and would consider worker's compensation one of my areas of
expertise; I'm really having fun learning ALL aspects of this specialized type of nursing! I will be taking the COHN-S exam this spring
so doing lots of studying and learning to prepare.
Q: What is your educational background?
A: I have a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing with a minor in Women's Studies from the College of St. Catherine.
Q: What are your outside interests?
A: I love to read, cook, and travel. I'm always looking for a good book or a fun place to visit and love to try new foods.
