Q: Where do you work?
A: Guidant Corporation, a Boston Scientific Company in St. Paul, MN

Q: Where do you live?
A: In the Twin Cities metro area

Q: What are your current position and responsibilities?
A: Manager of occupational health for the sales division of Guidant, a Boston Scientific Company. Administratively responsible for:
- the attainment of the corporate goals of maintaining a healthy employee population and safe work environment by managing Occupational Health programs including health surveillance, disability management, workers compensation, return to work, radiation monitoring & ergonomics
- compliance with local, state and federal laws/regulations, and
- acting as a liaison between the company, government agencies and vendors

Q: What are your past positions and areas of expertise?
A: Acute care ICU/CCU/supervision; long-term care administration and occupational health positions. Certified occupational health nurse specialist.

Q: What is your educational background?
A: Diploma and Bachelor degree in Nursing, Master degree in public health

Q: What are your outside interests?
A: Walking, reading for fun, novice flower gardening

Q: What do you hope to accomplish as President of MAOHN this year?
A: 1. Identify and have publicly recognized MAOHN accomplishments and activities;
2. Enhance pride in the MAOHN professional organization for current members and as a recruitment strategy for new members
3. Facilitate action and involvement in the MAOHN organization
