Volunteer Opportunities with the MAOHN
We are looking for volunteers to fill positions on the Nominating Committee, Governmental Affairs Committee and Special Projects
Committee. If interested, please submit your interest through the Feedback page.
Blood Pressures at the Capitol
MAOHN has had the tradition of volunteering, since 1982, in giving Blood Pressures at the Capital. 2007 marked the 25th year that the MAOHN has
organized this effort, and the Legislatures recognized the MAOHN for our service to them. This year, the MAOHN committed to giving blood pressures
at the Capital during the legislative session from Jan. 3rd to May 21st for 18 Mondays.
Lois Klobuchar, Margaret Herbarandson, Donna Garbe, Shirley Mellon, Susanna Presseller and Carol Turbenson have kindly donated their time to
identify risk factors for elevated blood pressure at the Minnesota Capital.
