Registration Information: Registration is free, but it is only available to current MAOHN members on a first come/first served basis due to space limitations. Join MAOHN member, Pat McGovern PhD, MPH, BSN, in an informal conversation by conference call to discuss advanced degree options for occupational health nurses at the University of Minnesota, School of Public Health.
Pat McGovern directs the Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing (OEHN) Program at the University of Minnesota. The OEHN program degree options are a Master of Public Health (MPH) and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Environmental Health. Pat has been teaching at the University of Minnesota since 1986. She will answer your questions about the degree programs, discuss how you can prepare for the admissions process and succeed in completing an advanced degree. Pat has also been a member of the Minnesota Association of Occupational Health Nurses (MAOHN) for over 30 years!
Funding from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) is available to cover student tuition and fees for students applying to start classes in Fall of 2019.
