Lack of sleep is a problem that has, in the past, gone largely unaddressed. Dr. Paul Nystrom will discuss the importance of sleep and why it is so crucial to our health and safety-on the job, on the road and at home.
Keynote Speaker - Dr. Paul Nystrom
Paul Nystrom brings a unique perspective to health and safety. Dr. Nystrom finished his Emergency Medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in 2012. He then completed a 2 year EMS Fellowship which included the police academy at Hennepin Technical College. He now works in the Emergency Department, as an EMS medical director, and also as a part-time police officer. He has an avid interest in nutrition, fitness, and safety of public safety personnel.
